The RXX trimming unit is a part of machine, supplied without electrical cabinet.

The RXX trimming unit receives cans from the extrusion press by means of a  conveyor and It releases the trimmed cans to the downstram process machine.

Extruded cans arriving from loading conveyor are transferred to a vacuum drum that releases them on the processing baskets. The processing baskets inserts the cans on the revolving cutting unit. A special cutting system with rotating knives moves around the can, carrying out the circular cut. During the cutting operation, a holder keeps the cans in position, avoiding any movement of the same. A stripper removes the scrap ring from the cutting mandrel. The ring is collected into a hood connected with the sucking system.

Cans are then released on vacuum baskets held by a drum from where they are transferred to the next  machine.
