The TT200 Tube Trimmer is an automatic machine installed into collapsible tubes production lines, immediately after extrusion press.

The machine progressively carries out several processes giving to the extruded tube its final aspect, in particular the machine:

• Trims the cylindrical section at the desired length.
• Faces the tube nozzle.
• Threads and brushes the tube nozzle.
• Brushes the tube shoulder.

Tubes coming from the extrusion press is transported by a roller conveyor and released into a vacuum assisted loading drum which is moving in an indexed way. This drum is placed in front of the main section of the machine, which is composed by a revolving turret where 12 mandrels are fixed.

After being loaded, one by one on mandrels, they pass through the working stations, where they progressively are processed, while the ring is extracted by a proper stripper and collected using a vacuum system.

The downloading vacuum drum provides the discharge of tubes onto the downloading conveyor which then releases tubes to the downstream machine. The processes are controlled by PLC.

The machine can be easily fitted into any type of line, thanks to a very versatile loading/unloading and digital electronic synchronisation system.
